Day Out
Today I decided, to have the day out in Chirk, I have not visited this national trust before. So packed a lovely packed lunch and the kids and drove an hour and 10 mins to the castle. The weather was raining on route, but that didn’t stop us. Singing in the car. We arrived and the sun came out.
We arrived at the castle the views were spectular, with Offa’s Dyke in the distance. There were lots of parking. We checked in and headed up to the castle, a very hilly walk up. We started in the castle and went to the dungeons very dark in there and lots of staircases which were very thin.
I have added my very first video of the visit. Please bear with me not sure how this is going to work out. But we all start somewhere. This video was taken on my iPhone.
Chirk Castle Visit
We had an amazing day and we didn’t have time to go around the whole of the grounds. Will definitely be visiting again.
